The United States has had the largest number of confirmed cases of coronaviral illness in the world.
The top five countries with the most confirmed cases are China, Japan, Russia, India and the United Kingdom.
There have been at least 5,700 cases worldwide, with the United States accounting for nearly 2.5 percent of all cases.
As of Tuesday, there were more than 6.6 million confirmed cases worldwide and nearly 6 million deaths.
The United Nations has said it expects at least 11 million additional deaths in the pandemic.

The World Health Organization estimates that 1,500 people died in the country from the virus in April.
In the United Arab Emirates, more people died than in any other country, and there were at least 6,500 confirmed cases.
In China, which is home to more than a quarter of the world’s population, there have been a total of 1,632 confirmed cases and more than 10,000 deaths.
In Japan, more deaths were reported than in all of 2016.
The Japanese government has said the pandemics have made it difficult for them to contain the pandepics.
The government said in April that the number of deaths has increased by an average of 2.3 percent every day since March.
But that is not the whole story, as many people in Japan are experiencing flu-like symptoms.

The U.S. is the world leader in deaths due to the coronvirus, with more than 16,000 confirmed cases, according in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The number of people with coronavic infections is estimated to be about 2.4 million, according the CDC.
That number includes about 1.1 million people who are infected and about 600,000 who have died.
The total number of coronovirus deaths in Japan has surpassed the number from the SARS coronaviolosis pandemic in 2007.
The pandemic also affected China, India, Russia and South Korea.
